Street vs Stage Concept:
It’s the first reality show to have a street vs stage concept where both schools of dancing are given ample footage and coverage. If your style is more street or you sway the stage way, you can show off your dancing skills however you want.
Judges:
When you’ve the classy triumvirate of Mads, Terry and Bosco, judge the contestants, what more do you want? While Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri focuses more on Bollywood and filmy style, Terry and Bosco keep a tab on contemporary and international styles. They are supportive, offer constructive criticism and help you grow as a dancer. In fact, if you’re planning to pick up a step or two, this is the right place to be at!
Hosts:
Rithvik Dhanjani and Mouni Roy make a fabulous pair of hosts. While Rithvik is funny and witty, Mouni is sweet and sophisticated. Their street vs stage banter is entertaining too. Needless to say, they add a lot of value to the show.
Talent pool:
The contestants are simply power-packed. From mastering international styles to acing traditional dance forms, the participants are the true pull of the show. You have tune into it to the show for them, if nothing else!
Production value:
Trust &TV and Endemol’s production value to be grander, brighter, and bigger. The stage, the setting and the background score make the show a catchy affair. Even the judges’ and hosts’ outfits are coordinated and classy.
Way to go SYTYCD!!!
