Ravi Dubey spills beans over the UNPRECEDENTED success of ‘Jamai Raja’
He talks the show airing in Germany and being a TRP topper.
Jamai Raja has been a TRP topper in the rural charts even after it went off-air months ago. And, while it was only recently that the show aired in Indonesia, starting from 25th September, the show has now begun airing in Germany as well.
Ravi Dubey took to Twitter to share the same. Have a look at it for yourself:
We quizzed Ravi about the same, and he said, “Yes, that is happening and it feels glad that the show is doing well not only pan India but abroad too. The show is already on-air since 25th of September in Germany and it was only recently that the show also aired in Indonesia. I visited the fans there and it was overwhelming. The show has done really good for me – financially, spiritually as well as mentally. However, I also like to think that it is a sort of give and take situation where I gave it all to the show and it continues to give me back.”
“Moreover, as far as the television industry in India is concerned, there is this notion that only female-centric shows work. However, with Jamai Raja, the show also sent out a message otherwise as to how it is the story telling and the content that matters, and that is what makes any show a worthy watch,” he added.
