#EXCLUSIVE: Gul Khan RESPONDS to rumours of ‘Qubool Hai’ Season 2!
Rumour has it that the makers are all set to return with a second season.
Rumours are rife that Zee TV’s Qubool Hai will soon be returning to the television screens with a season 2. As per these rumours, producer, Gul Khan wanted to revive the magic that this epic show created.
Qubool Hai’s story was set against a Muslim backdrop and was an instant hit with the masses when the show was launched in 2012, with Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti in the leads. Eventually, Karan quit but Surbhi went on to be a part of 4 consecutive seasons of the show, till it went off-air in January 2016.
With the buzz about the show coming back, we contacted the producer, Gul Khan who told us, “No, nothing like that is happening.”
We also quizzed her if she had any such plans in the near future to which she said, “Not at all. Zee doesn’t want to do their old brands.”
Well, if this idea was to materialise and take shape eventually, it would have been a treat for the Qubool Hai fans!
