This ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ actress joins ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’!
The actress will be seen attempting comedy for the very first time.
Sony TV’s ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has been facing a rough time ever since Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s infamous fight on a Mumbai-bound flight took place. Post the fiasco, comedians, Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar too followed Sunil Grover out of the show.
Since then, Kapil has been facing a tough time and the makers are moving heaven and earth alike to keep the show from dipping even more than it has, in terms of numbers.
After bringing back Upasana Singh to the show, the makers have now roped in actress, Supriya Shukla, who is currently seen as Sarla in Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’.
Supriya revealed her character to a leading daily. The actress will be seen playing a woman who has shifted to Mumbai from UP. Her character will have a Kanpur lingo.
Supriya was all praises for Kapil and his team and was quoted saying that they were very supportive as she was nervous because this would be her first stint with comedy.
Looks like the makers are doing everything they can, to salvage the show.
