Mishal Raheja becomes Television’s one of the HIGHEST paid actors!
The actor is being paid an exorbitant amount for his show.
Colors’ Ishq ka Rang Safed was until recently, in a huge mess with the lead actor Mishal Raheja quitting the show. Mishal went on to deny these reports initially but then he came out clean as to why he decided to quit the show.
Mishal was rumoured to be demanding for a fee hike after his one-year contract with the production house ended. He was also said to be having issues as to how his show went from 5 days a week to 7 days a week.
But both the parties recently ironed out their differences and Mishal was all set to return to the show. But the question here is at what cost? (pun intended)
Apparently, Mishal will be paid a sum of Rs.1.6 lakhs per day, according to a report in a leading daily
Whaaat?? This fee hike makes Mishal one of television’s highest paid actors. When this daily contacted Mishal, he refused to reveal the exact amount of money he was being paid but said, “I believe, I deserve the amount I have quoted for a seven-day telecast.”
The original lead of the show Eisha Singh quit the soap, post the leap and actress Sanjeeda Shaikh was roped in opposite Mishal Raheja.
