Rinku Karmarkar the main antagonist of Zee TV’s Yeh Vaada Raha (Trishulla Productions) has been shooting in pain for the last few days.

Reason? The lady suffered from twin injuries recently. It all started when the seasoned actress was shooting for a dance performance for the Maha Shivrathri episode.

When she was dancing, she suffered from a heat stroke post which she developed blisters on her feet. She saw the doctor, got herself proper medication and resumed shoot to finish the shoot of the important episode.

However, while shooting, she put so much of pressure on her knee owing to the blisters on her foot, that she ended up spraining her knee. Now, the lady is on a course of antibiotics, and needs to get oiling done on her knee whenever she has time at her disposal.

When contacted, Rinku told us, “Yes, we have been going through a strenuous schedule for the last 15 days and it finally took a toll on me. It is true that I had blisters on my feet, and then went on to sprain my knee. Though the blisters are better now, my knee is still in a bad shape. In between, I requested my team to give me an off of a day to rest it, and they readily obliged. I continue to have a slight limp when I walk. I was even invited to perform at the Zee Holi event, which I refused. Events will come and go, but health is important and I did not want to take a risk.”
