Kanika Mann gives a real life feels to her reel life wedding
MUMBAI: Marriage is one of the most important turns in a girl’s life, be it reel or real. From choosing the right attire to free-willingly dressing up, the bride-to-be looks forward to all the wedding ceremonies anxiously. Something similar happened to Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paega actor Kanika Mann albeit for her on-screen wedding on the show. India’s youngest saas Guddan is all set to get married to Akshat Jindal (played by Nishant Singh Malkani) in a grand celebration and Kanika is all excited about it. Since it’s her first on-screen shaddi ceremony, she is leaving no stone unturned to make it a memorable one. So much so that the actor ditched the temporary stick-on Mehendi and instead got a real one done overnight.
She said, “Any wedding ceremony is incomplete without the Mehendi and when I was told to get a temporary one for the sequence, I was a little disappointed. And suddenly getting a real mehendi crossed my mind. I called up mehendi artist on the sets post pack up and sat all through the night to get the perfect design. I was tired and was feeling weary after the long day shoot but I just could not resist the temptation and the pleasant smell of Henna. I know the wedding is not a real one but the entire feeling of becoming a bride itself is giving me butterflies. For my co-star Nishant it is not a big deal and he kept teasing me for my over-enthusiasm. I hope that the audience enjoy this new turning point in Guddan’s life and shower us with their blessings.”
Well! We definitely can’t wait to watch more drama unfold with Guddan and Akshat’s wedding.
